Pressure Washing in Oconomowoc, WI

Two lakes and the houses that sit on them. Every Oconomowoc job is looked at in person before a number is given.

What’s different in Oconomowoc

Two lakes shape almost everything here. Fowler Lake sits right against downtown and Lac La Belle runs west of it, and between them is some of the largest lakefront housing in the county. A lake house has more glass, more deck and more dock than an inland one, which is why the work here spreads across four services instead of concentrating on one.

House washing is still most of it, with window cleaning close behind — a wall of glass facing the water picks up spray and film in a way an inland window never does. Decks and docks follow from the same thing. Everything on a lakefront property takes longer to dry than it should.

What we clean

Why houses get dirty

Everything that makes a lakefront property worth owning also keeps it wet.

Water on one side keeps everything damp

A lakefront wall never dries the way an inland one does. Spray, humidity and shade off the water mean growth gets a hold and keeps it, right through the season.

Glass takes the worst of it

A wall of windows facing the lake collects spray and film constantly. It is the thing lake homeowners notice first, because it sits between them and the view they paid for.

Decks and docks stay wet all season

Both sit low, both stay damp, and both are walked on barefoot. Algae film on a wet board is slippery in a way a dry one never hints at.

Spider webs, constantly

Water and trees together mean insects. Webs go up along the soffits, in the eaves and around every exterior light, and they are back not long after anyone clears them.

More surface than an inland house

Lake homes have more glass, more railing, more deck and more dock. Not a harder job, just a bigger one, which is why it pays to have it looked at in person.

Freeze-thaw finishes what the moisture starts

Water sitting in a surface freezes and expands all winter, opening it up so the next season's growth has somewhere better to sit.

Brad was great to deal with! We had been in the house 5 years without touching the outside exterior, who knows how long before us. We have many oak trees surrounding our house, and Pristine made it new again! Highly recommend.

Pristine did a great job! We are very pleased with how our home looked post-cleaning. Brad was very professional and thorough. Attention to detail was very evident and I would absolutely recommend Pristine!

Brad was extremely thorough. He took the time to explain and educate upfront as we walked around the house, and did the same at the end with a quality walk-through. Our neighbors jumped on board with a wash too.

Oconomowoc questions

Do you actually work in Oconomowoc, or just drive through it?

We work here. It is the far west end of the service area and one of the towns where the job spreads across several services at once — house, windows, deck and dock on the same property is common.

Do you clean docks and piers as well?

Yes, and it is one of the few services around here that nobody else advertises. Aluminum, composite and wood, cleaned to what the material will take. Over open water we use a hydrogen peroxide solution certified under EPA's Safer Choice program in its direct release category.

When can you get to a job in Oconomowoc?

The season runs from the end of April through the end of October. Spring and early summer are the busiest stretch of the year, so earlier calls get more choice of date. Sanding and sealing is June through August.
