Most siding does not need pressure. It needs the right cleaning solution and enough dwell time to kill what is growing on it. Brad uses a low pressure soft wash with algaecide, which lifts the growth at the root instead of blasting the surface off the board.
People search for pressure washing, and that is what most of this work is called. On siding, the honest version of it is soft washing — same result, none of the risk.

Soft washing uses low pressure and only as much cleaning solution as the job needs. High pressure on siding is what etches the surface and punches holes in it — which is exactly why it is not what gets used here. Vulnerable siding does not get pressure washed at all.
Brad answers his own phone and does his own scheduling. If there is a date and time on the calendar, he is there, barring weather or something genuinely unforeseen — and if the forecast turns, you hear about it during the week, not the morning of.
Everything gets watered before any solution is sprayed — the surface, the grass, the bushes, the flowers. Only the required type and amount of solution gets used. When the cleaning is finished, everything gets watered again.

Add the freeze-thaw cycle working at the surface all winter and road salt carried up off the street, and siding around here takes more of a beating than most people realize. Left alone, organic growth keeps its hold and the siding stays dirtier, longer.
A basic house wash is usually done in under two hours. Larger homes, heavy growth or adding the roof and gutters will run longer, and Brad will tell you what to expect when he quotes it in person.
You do not have to be, but most people prefer it — the walk-around at the end is easier when you can see the work together and point at anything you want a second look at. If you cannot be there, Brad sends plenty of photos and handles the whole job remotely.

A wash removes what is growing on the siding — algae, moss, mildew, dirt. It does not undo damage that is already there. Chalky or sun-faded siding, or a surface etched by someone else’s high pressure wand, will come out clean but it will still be faded or etched. Brad will tell you which one you have before he quotes it, not after.
The season runs from the end of April through the end of October. Washing needs temperatures above freezing to work properly, so nothing gets booked outside that window. Spring and early summer are the busiest stretch, so earlier calls get more choice of date.
